อัพเดทฟรีโปรแกรมสำหรับเล่นไฟล์มัลติมีเดียทุกประเภท KMPlayer 3.1.0.0 R2 ไม่ว่าจะเป็นไฟล์หนัง หรือไฟล์เพลง คลิปวีดีโอ หรือไฟล์มัลติมีเดียอื่น ๆ ซึ่งในเวอร์ชันนี้ได้ปรับให้รองรับการเปิดไฟล์อิมเมจ เช่นไฟล์ .iso ซึ่งจากเดิมเราต้องใช้โปรแกรมสำหรับอ่านไฟล์อิมเมจในการเปิด หรือที่เรียกว่าการ mouse image ตัวอย่างโปรแกรมที่ใช้เปิดเช่นโปรแกรม Deamontool หลังจากที่ mouse image แล้วถึงจะสามารถเปิดไฟล์หนังจากไดรฟ์ซีดีที่ได้ทำเป็นอิมเมจไว้ กว่าจะดูหนังได้ยุ่งยากพอสมควรครัีบ แต่ KMPlayer เวอร์ชันล่าสุดนี้เค้าสามารถทำให้อ่านไฟล์อิจเมจได้แล้วครับ นอกจากนั้นยังสามารถอ่านไฟล์อื่น ๆ ได้ครบถ้านเหมือนเคยอาทิเช่นไฟล์ wma, avi, mp1, mp2, mp3, mp4, dat, mkv, mov, vob, amv, ogg, ogm, mkv,ogg Theora, mpeg-1/2/4 และ ไฟล์ 3gp เรียกได้ว่าครบเครื่องเรื่องมัลติมีเดียเหมือนเช่นเคยครับ
